RULES OF PARTICIPATION in the WINNER SHOW

The show follows the FIFe Exhibition Rules and the regulations of the Felis Polonia Federation.

1. Only cats that have reached 4 months of age (FIFe Exhibition Rules 3.3), are listed in the catalogue (FIFe Exhibition Rules 1.15b), and have passed the veterinary check are allowed to be on the show grounds.

2. Selling cats during the show is prohibited. Exhibitors selling kittens at the show will be removed, and their cats will be marked as absent (even if the cat has already been judged).

3. Only neutered domestic cats are accepted at the show, with appropriate annotations in their health booklet or passport.

4. Judges decisions are final and cannot be appealed (FIFe Exhibition Rules 6.13).

5. Cat evaluation occurs only at the designated time.

6. Throughout the show, cats must remain under the care of the exhibitor in designated, properly equipped and decorated cages provided by the organizer or in the exhibitors own cages, until the official end of the show (FIFe Exhibition Rules 1.15c).

7. It is prohibited (under penalty of exclusion from the show) to lock cages with padlocks (FIFe Exhibition Rules 3.7) or place cats on top of cages to allow visitors physical contact with the cat.

8. Each cat registered for the show is entitled to a cage provided by the organizer measuring 60x55x65 cm, and for litters, a double cage measuring approximately 120x60x65 cm. The cages do not have a solid bottom, only a mesh.

9. The cage floor must be lined to ensure the catscomfort.

10. Exhibitors may bring their own cages, but this must be noted in the application form.

11. To ensure the cats comfort in the cage, the exhibitor should provide suitable shelter (a tent or an additional curtain).

12. It is recommended to cover the cage with protective foil.

13. Exhibitors must provide their cats with food, water, and a litter box for at least half of the show duration.

14. Diplomas will be distributed on Sunday at 4:00 PM.

15. To collect a diploma, the exhibitor must present the cats identification number, which will be provided during registration.

II. EXHIBITION SECTORS

16. Organizers cages for registered cats will be prepared in sectors.

17. Exhibitors receive a cage indicated by the Organizer with the cat's catalogue number.

18. Each registered cat is entitled to a single cage measuring 60x55x65 cm, unless an additional fee for a double cage has been paid.

19. It is the exhibitors responsibility to declare the use of their own cage in the cat registration form.

20. Tables will be provided for exhibitors using their own cages.

21. For exhibitors registering four or more cats, a row of cages will be reserved upon request.

22. It is the exhibitors duty to hang the cats catalogue number on the cage(s). The catalogue numbers and hangers will be provided in envelopes with the exhibition documents.

III. CAT EVALUATION

23. During the evaluation, the cat may be presented by the owner or a steward.

24. It is recommended to bring cats to evaluation and to BIS (Best in Show) in carriers.

IV. VETERINARY REQUIREMENTS

25. The exhibitor must have a health booklet or passport for each cat.

26. The exhibitor must have a veterinary certificate issued no more than 3 days before the show, stating that the cat is clinically healthy.

27. Cats participating in the show must have a microchip (also applies to litters), be healthy, and free from infectious and parasitic diseases.

28. White cats must have a medical certificate confirming their hearing status. A “BEAR test“ is required (FIFe Exhibition Rules 3.5).

29. Cats presented at the show must have their claws trimmed (FIFe Exhibition Rules 3.4).

30. Mandatory vaccinations against feline viral rhinotracheitis and panleukopenia must be administered no later than 2 years (730 days) prior to the show and no earlier than 21 days before the show.

31. Foreign exhibitors cats must be vaccinated against Rabies from the age of 4 months.

If, during registration or the show, the veterinarian detects any symptoms of illness in a cat, that cat and any other cats belonging to the exhibitor will be immediately removed from the exhibition hall (FIFe Exhibition Rules 3.8).
