Only cats of fully recognized breeds and household cats belonging to individual FIFe members can participate in the Winner Show”. Participation in the Winner Show” is only possible for cats that have achieved the minimum necessary qualifications, depending on the class in which they will participate at the “Winner Show”:

They have obtained the following qualifications within thirteen months prior to the show:

a. Classes 1-6 (adult cats and neuters):

No qualification is required; cats that have already earned the title of International Champion, International Premier, or higher are automatically qualified.

b. Classes 7-10 (adult cats and neuters):

  • 3 x Excellent 1 in classes 11 - 12, or:
  • 1 x Best in Variety in classes 7 - 12, or:
  • 1 x nomination for Best in Show in classes 7 - 12.

For classes 8 and 10 (neuters): no qualification is required for cats that have earned the title of International Champion or higher; these cats are automatically nominated.

c. Class 11 (juniors):

  • 3 x Excellent 1 in classes 11 - 12, or:
  • 1 x Best in Variety in classes 11 - 12, or:
  • 1 x nomination for Best in Show in classes 11 - 12.

d. Class 12 (kittens): not applicable from 2025 onwards

e. Class 14 (domestic cats): 1 x nomination for Best in Show in the household cat class.

No qualification is required for cats with the Distinguished Show Merit” (DSM) title; these cats are automatically qualified.

In all cases where the above rules apply, the qualification period is the 13 months preceding the given Winner Show.

Qualifications obtained within 13 months prior to the Winner Show for cats of provisionally recognized breeds or varieties become valid as soon as the breed or variety is recognized before the Winner Show.

Qualifications for the Winner Show are checked and confirmed by the National Federation or Club to which the exhibitor belongs.
